We’ll officially kick-off Waterpower Week 2023 at this can’t-be-missed event hosted by the Hydropower Foundation. The event will take place at the Le DeSales Restaurant, 1725 Desales St. NW (just around the corner from the Capital Hilton Hotel), and will include an open bar and passed Hors D’oeuvres.

Your participation helps raise funds for the Hydropower Foundation to do its workforce development, research and educational work.

Networking social event for NHA Future Leaders of Waterpower (FLOW) and Young Professionals. Join us at Sauf Haus Bier Garten for drinks and get to know your colleagues across the industry.

This ticketed event ($15) includes two drinks and is open to all Waterpower Week attendees who are new to the industry and/or Young Professionals.

In addition to lunch, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the future leaders of the clean energy workforce who will display their work along “Poster Row” on the second floor of the Capital Hilton.

30 teams of undergraduate and graduate students from the Hydropower Collegiate Competition and Marine Energy Collegiate Competition will showcase their work addressing complex clean energy challenges. By participating in these competitions, students from around the country—and even the world—build the skills, experience, and professional relationships that will help them find jobs in the hydropower and marine energy industries.

Stop by Poster Row in the main hallway sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9 to meet the teams and learn how they are innovating solutions to meet a clean energy future. You might even find some fresh talent for your company.

Join us in the Presidential Ballroom at the Capital Hilton Hotel for a networking reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. This reception is included with event registration and open to all registered attendees.

The National Hydropower Association has come a long way these past few years to include and uplift diverse perspectives but our work is far from done! Celebrate our progress and be a part of the changing tide – join us for networking and hear from rising voices in the industry. A rising tide lifts all boats, how can you be a part of this movement? This ticketed event includes a hot breakfast.
